In Endeavour Infrastructure regions, we will now be sure to install a meter capable of changing to 'Time of Use' instead of the standard meter which does not allow this change.

’Time of Use’ OR ‘All Time'

Please read below from Diamond:

Just letting you know that Standard Endeavour Energy solar meters are only able to be set up for All Time Charges  (Flat Rates) to apply.  In NSW Diamond Energy has no control over the metering & by the time we get the contract the metering has already been installed by the solar installers Electrician.

If the customer wants Time of Use in Endeavour Energy’s distribution Zone:

EnergyOptions need to install the Time of Use meter instead of the standard Endeavour Energy solar meter.

EnergyOptions have to notify Diamond Energy & make sure that the contract is received quickly & marked with Time of Use.

If the customer wants All Time in Endeavour Energy’s distribution Zone:

Normal process applies

Standard Endeavour Energy solar meters can be used to achieve All time

**Please note the standard process in Endeavour Energy’s distribution Zone is:

DE will process all Endeavour applications as “All Time” unless advised otherwise

DE has notified affected customers and will continue to contact customers as new agreements are received.

If the metering has already been installed the customer must have All Time Rates unless they arrange a NEW Capable metering installation at their cost.

This issue does not arise in distribution areas outside of Endeavour Energy region,Ausgrid & Essential customers are able to change between All Time & Time of Use if they choose.
